Atomic Bubbles Founder John Reider Featured on Fox 2's Hawk's Nest
Atomic Bubbles founder John Reider — known as the Bubble Man — recently sat down with Fox 2's Ty Hawkins on the Hawk's Nest to share the story behind one of the most joyful businesses in the country.
Reider was an aircraft engineer before trading the corporate life for bubbles. His first move: converting a 1993 Caprese Classic station wagon into a bubble bus. That bus later became a franchise called the Bubble Bus. Now he's focused on his company Atomic Bubbles, and its dozens of products, including the glowing blacklight bubbles that first put the company on the map and a full line of scented bubbles, from wedding varieties that smell like rose, peony, and orchid to the brand's fastest-growing category: pet bubbles.
Puppy Love and Kitty Love — pet-safe bubbles formulated specifically for dogs and cats — have become a breakout hit as pet owners look for new ways to enrich and play with their animals.
"I pinch myself and wonder how did I end up here?" Reider told Hawkins.
